Here at The Talking House, it’s our aim to provide children and young adults with the best and most effective therapy, and there are many ways we can do this.
Children benefit from different therapy approaches. For example, seeing a child several times a week over the school holidays can work much better for those who are not able to take time out of school. You can be assured that our therapists will advise you on what are the best and most cost-effective intervention approaches for your child.
The school holidays are always a challenge for parents, especially when it means your child has to stop therapy. There is always the worry that all the hard work and progress they made during the school term will all go to waste.
We understand this. For us, school holidays are a fantastic opportunity to offer teaching programmes based around supporting and practising communication, speech and language in a fun, engaging and relaxed way.
These programmes run throughout school holidays for all ages and degrees of difficulty and can be offered on a one-to-one basis or as part of a small group.
Your child will be supported by highly-trained therapists using the best techniques in activities such as baking, gardening, team games, arts and crafts, music, video making, design and technology, literacy and writing.
