Attention and listening skills are the foundations on which all other speech, language and communication skills are built. Many of the children with whom we work need a little extra help to develop and practise their attention and listening skills. These skills are best developed within the child’s daily routine. We have put together some advice and activity ideas for supporting the development of attention and listening skills in Early Years settings.

This pack has been developed by Speech and Language Therapists Laura, Melissa and Sam.

We hope that you enjoy the training.
